About this concreting referral service
Traralgon Concreting is a referral website run by Yes Right Pty Ltd. How enquiries are handled, who quotes and does the work, and how to check a provider.
Traralgon Concreting is an enquiry and referral website operated by Yes Right Pty Ltd, ABN 91 664 546 061. It lets homeowners in Traralgon and nearby Latrobe Valley towns describe a concreting job in one place so it can be passed to an independent local concreter who may be able to quote it.
The website is not a concreting business. It has no yard, plant, employees or completed projects of its own, and it does not publish reviews or ratings. Images on the site show the kind of work discussed on each page, not jobs arranged through this website.
What happens when you send an enquiry
- You fill in the quote form with your suburb, contact details and a description of the job.
- Your details may be shared with one or more independent providers who work in your area, so they can respond to the enquiry.
- A provider may ask for photos or measurements, or arrange a site visit, before deciding whether to quote.
- If a provider quotes, any contract is between you and that provider.
Submitting the form does not book a job, and there is no promise that a provider will be available or will accept the work. Do not use the form for anything urgent or unsafe, such as a collapsed slab next to a footpath; contact the council or the relevant authority directly.
What the provider is responsible for
The provider who quotes is responsible for:
- inspecting the site and confirming the scope
- the price, inclusions, exclusions and payment terms
- any registration, licence and insurance the work requires
- permits they agree to obtain, such as a Latrobe City works permit for a crossing
- the quality of the work and any warranty they offer
Ask for the quote in writing, including slab thickness, concrete strength, mesh, finish, removal and who pays permit fees. The concreting cost guide lists what a full quote should cover.
How to check a concreter in Victoria
In Victoria, what a concreter needs to hold depends on the job:
| Job | What applies | Where to check |
|---|---|---|
| Driveway or paving only | The BPC says a driveway or paving job on its own is generally not domestic building work, so registration is not legally required | Ask for an ABN and public liability details |
| Garage, shed, carport or house slab over 10,000 dollars | A registered building practitioner and a written major domestic building contract | BPC practitioner register |
| Drainage or stormwater connections | A licensed plumber | BPC practitioner register |
| Crossing in the road reserve | A Latrobe City works permit | Latrobe City Council |
The Building and Plumbing Commission’s find and check a practitioner page links to its public registers of builders and plumbers, where you can confirm registration status, the class of work allowed and any conditions, and to its compliance and enforcement register. The BPC also has domestic builder classes limited to footings and slab work, and to non-habitable structures such as sheds and garages, so check the class matches your job.
From 1 July 2026, the BPC says Home Warranty generally applies to new eligible domestic building work valued at more than 20,000 dollars, and the builder pays the premium.
